The terms "We", "Us", "Our", "Company" refer to HOC Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd (operating as "HOC Bill"). The terms "You", "Your", "User", "Visitor" refer to the users of the HOC Bill platform.

This page states the Terms and Conditions under which you may use this website (hocbill.in), the HOC Bill web application, mobile application, and all related services. Please read these terms carefully. If you do not accept these Terms, we request you to exit the platform. HOC Bill reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. You should visit this page periodically to review the current Terms, as they are binding on all users.

1. Acceptance of Terms

HOC Bill is a smart billing and business management software developed by HOC Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd. By clicking "I Agree", registering an account, installing, or using the platform, you automatically agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms are governed by Indian laws. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any future changes to these Terms.

2. Modification of Terms

HOC Bill reserves the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates on the platform. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Continued use of the platform following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those revised Terms.

3. Services We Provide

HOC Bill offers GST invoicing, inventory management, accounting, payroll, POS billing, fleet management, manufacturing management, project management, expense tracking, reports & analytics, and various other business management tools. You can use the platform for your personal or business needs. Some features require internet connectivity. You are responsible for your own GST and tax compliance — the platform provides tools to assist but does not take responsibility for legal or financial errors.

4. Use of Content

All logos, brands, marks, designs, names, and content appearing on this platform are properties owned or used under licence by HOC Bill. You may not sell, modify, reproduce, distribute, or use any materials from this platform for any public or commercial purpose without our prior written permission.

5. Account & Responsibilities

You are fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username, password, and account details. You must inform us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account (email: hocbill.in@gmail.com). We are not responsible for any loss due to unauthorised access caused by your failure to protect your credentials. Always keep backups of your important data.

6. Payment Terms & Auto-Renewal

HOC Bill offers a free trial period (9 days by default, all features unlocked). After the trial, you can subscribe to a paid plan.

• Billing Cycles: Monthly or Yearly — as selected during subscription.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions are auto-renewable via Razorpay. Your payment method will be automatically charged at the start of each billing cycle until you stop auto-pay or cancel.
• Stop Auto-Pay: You can stop auto-pay at any time from your Subscription settings in the app. You retain access until the current billing period ends.
• Cancel Immediately: You can also cancel immediately, which stops access right away with no pro-rated refund.
• Failed Payments: If a renewal payment fails, Razorpay retries automatically. If all retries fail, the subscription expires and access to premium features stops.
• Payment Security: All payments are processed securely through Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant). We never store your card details.

Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy. Cancellations are subject to our Cancellation Policy.

7. Data Ownership

You fully own all business data, invoices, records, and content you create on the HOC Bill platform. We do not claim ownership of your data. However, by using the platform, you grant us permission to use your data internally to provide and improve the service. You can export your data at any time.

8. Permissions (Mobile Application)

The HOC Bill mobile application may request the following permissions:

• Camera: To scan barcodes and capture photos of bills/documents.
• Contacts: To sync contacts for billing purposes. We do not upload your contacts to our server.
• Storage: To save and access documents, invoices, and reports.
• Location: To verify your address and for service availability checks.

All permissions are used solely for providing better service and improving your experience.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate or attempt to violate the security of the platform.
• Access data or accounts not intended for you.
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities of the system.
• Interfere with service to any user, host, or network (including flooding, mail bombing, or DDoS).
• Transmit material that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, or infringes on intellectual property rights.
• Use the platform for any illegal activity.

10. Data Security

We use strong security measures including encryption, firewalls, and regular monitoring to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure. We are not responsible for data loss due to cyber attacks beyond our control or user negligence. We follow Indian data protection laws and industry best practices.

11. Limitation of Liability

HOC Bill and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages resulting from your use or inability to use the platform. This includes damages for loss of profits, use, data, or other intangible losses. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid to us in the last 3 months. We do not guarantee 100% uptime but strive for maximum availability.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HOC Bill, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, actions, demands, liabilities, losses, and damages arising from or resulting from your use of the platform or breach of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export your data before it is permanently deleted.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Maharashtra, India.
